Each day, hundreds of men, women and children are the victim to violence or abuse!! Too many times the media, the public and the victims believe that the violence was “random” or the abuse was deserved. These are false premises that result in an inability to avoid, defend or stop the violence or abuse from happening. The SAVE Foundation was established to educate, assist and train people in order to recognize the Pre-Situation Signals that provide a “clear picture” of the ill-intent of a potential attacker. Through education, understanding, awareness and training, people can have the belief and confidence no matter the situation or the place that they can avoid finding themselves in threatening situation.

Additionally, we wish to raise not only the public awareness to the problem but to raise the public responsibility to eliminating it from our society and culture. It is only through the acknowledgement of the magnitude of the problem that we may begin to seek out solutions for the long-term elimination of violence and abuse from the American households.

Unfortunately, the statistics are staggering and it has become accepted in our society that women and children can not freely live there life in the same manner as men can. There is always an underlying fear of attack, abduction or violence that places artificial boundaries on the quality of life they can lead as well as the choices they make.

The SAVE Foundation’s legal name (Safety, Abuse & Violence Education Foundation) was inspired by the founder’s desire to create an environment and understanding to allow all people to eliminate these artificial boundaries of inequality.
